meet jordan swiler, Area Director of Culinary

Chef Jordan Swiler started his culinary career in the basement of his parents Minneapolis home. He would watch the likes of Emeril Lagasse and Alton Brown cook and explain food and be enamored with the craft and science behind the art form. At the age of 12, he decided to slowly learn the craft of the kitchen while cooking for his family and friends. After graduating from the University of Missouri in 2009 with a bachelor’s in food science, Swiler decided to take his cooking in to professional kitchens. First as a line cook, then Sous Chef at Café and Bar Lurcat in Minneapolis. This was followed by an Executive Sous Chef position at D’amicos The Continental in Naples FL. Swiler then took over as the Executive Chef at Café and Bar Lurcat in Min- neapolis and lead that kitchen for 6 years. Swiler took his Culinary career on the road again as Complex Executive Chef for Highgate Hotels in Ketchikan AK, Scottsdale AZ, and Las Vegas. He was most recently the Corporate Opening Chef for Table
One Hospitality, a venture between Chef Michael Mina and Highgate Hotels.
